Ohh Ashley, you picked a real Hungarian showstopper! 🎂✨
The Esterházy Torte ðŸ‡ðŸ‡º is one of Hungary’s most famous cakes — elegant, nutty, and chocolaty. Named after Prince Paul III Anton Esterházy (a nobleman from the Esterházy dynasty), this cake is a true classic of Austro-Hungarian pastry tradition.
It’s made with delicate hazelnut (or walnut) sponge layers, sandwiched with a silky chocolate buttercream, then topped with a distinctive white fondant glaze and chocolate spiderweb pattern.
