
Instructions:
- Mix the meatball ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, finely chopped onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika(s), salt, pepper, parsley, and marjoram if using. Mix well until everything is evenly incorporated. Let rest for 10–15 minutes so flavors can meld. - Shape:
Form small balls or patties from the mixture (about the size of a golf ball). - Fry:
Heat about ½ inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the meatballs in batches until golden brown and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels.
Serving suggestions:
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Excellent with pickles or a cucumber sour cream salad.
- Can also be simmered in a tomato-paprika sauce for a saucier version.
